This job is HYBRID.FTE: 0.600000Shift: 1Schedule: Typical shifts start as early as 7am and end as late as 445pm on Mon-Fri; no weekends or holidays. Work shifts are on site at FMLH. There may be the possibility of work from home shifts after completing training and demonstrating competency. Job Summary:Provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the monitoring of medication therapy. Functions within the guidelines of Chapter 7 of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician-training program is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Proven attention to detail. Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills. Experience with various computer systems and programs.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must have applied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Boards exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Associations exam (ExCPT) is required within 6 months of hire.
