To better serve our communities growth SOVAH Danville Emergency Department is currently under a complete renovation to better serve our patients. The new Emergency Department will be a 31-bed unit with a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, with designated behavioral health safe rooms. Our Emergency Department provides care to patients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies. We are a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. We are an academic teaching site for residents, medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants. The Registered nurse acts a leader in the healthcare system at SOVAH Danville by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and other team members to provide optimal patient care, utilizing evidence-based practice in care, and providing compassion in care for our patients. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, accountability, and authority for provision and management of care with accordance with current policies and procedures. About our Health System
