Job Title: Functional SAP MM Consultant with Excel – Supply & Demand Planning (ODM Focus) Location: Bay Area, California (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only) Job Type: Contract / Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Job Summary: We are seeking a Functional SAP MM Consultant with strong expertise in Supply and Demand Planning and Excel , with a specific focus on ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) operations. This role is crucial for driving planning ownership and ensuring effective customer order fulfillment in a hybrid work environment in the Bay Area, CA . Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary functional lead for SAP MM (Materials Management) within the supply planning and order fulfillment process. Manage planning ownership for ODMs , ensuring accurate demand translation and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and logistics teams to align demand plans with supply capabilities. Work closely with ODM partners to manage order schedules, inventory levels, and shipment timelines. Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) to analyze supply chain data, track KPIs, and support decision-making. Translate business requirements into SAP MM functional specifications and support configuration and testing. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM functional issues related to supply planning and procurement processes. Support continuous process improvement in supply chain planning and execution. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a Functional SAP MM Consultant role, preferably within high-tech or manufacturing industries. Strong expertise in Supply & Demand Planning , especially in ODM environments. Proven experience with SAP MM modules , including procurement, purchasing, and inventory management. Proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, dashboards, data analysis). Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external ODM partners. Ability to work hybrid from Bay Area, California – Local candidates only . Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP IBP, APO, or other planning tools is a plus. Familiarity with electronics manufacturing or OEM/ODM business models. Background in customer order management and fulfillment. Hybrid model : Combination of remote and on-site work in the Bay Area. Collaborative, fast-paced, and results-driven team environment.
