Job Description

As a User Acceptance Tester in our Operations group, you will contribute to the discovery, execution, and implementation of new or enhanced functionality that improves the user experience of both internal and external customers, helping to facilitate the client experience and grow our company in the industry. Job Responsibilities include creating and executing various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and scripts) based on business filing (rate, rule, and form), user requirements, technical requirements, and integrations with other core business applications; writing, maintaining, and analyzing Excel rating requirements for rate revision testing; testing software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects; performing regression testing and may include automated test tools; ensuring adequate software testing, in accordance with established standards and requirements, prior to implementation; creating and maintaining Test Script and/or Case Library; coordinating testing with both internal and external associates; identifying, documenting, and resolving problems, including the coordination and retesting of resolutions; devising improvements to current procedures and developing models of possible future configurations; maintaining and developing business knowledge and customer relationships; assisting in training business units (in-person or documented training); and performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrated ability to analyze, perform testing and problem solve. Ideal Qualifications: Three years experience in a testing or analyst role, experience with annuities a plus.
